In this final training, we revisit the three granthis - psychic knots - that must be loosened in order to continually grow along one’s spiritual path. In our initial descent through the chakras, we loosened the lowest knot through purification of the psyche. This prepares us to move progressively upward from the navel. Surrender at the heart, mastery of the third eye, transcendence through the crown - these are stages we can look forward to and explore as we continue to cultivate a single pointed focus, devotion, determination, self-knowingness, and non-attachment.
In this module we examine the two-fold purpose of practice: how to deepen our connection with the eternal in order to maximize our thriving in this life. As we gain greater and greater clarity around our unique purpose, we find our life not only becomes richer and more joyful, but it also becomes more clearly honed as a form of service to the world.
Up until now, we accessed the higher chakras to gain certain capacities as we travelled down from the third eye to the navel. We now begin an upward journey to explore deeper layers of these same chakras. Key to this upward ascension of consciousness is surrender to a higher reality. The tools we lean into will gently shift, as our practice becomes ever simplified, and we experience the more subtle reality that guides us inward. We work with gratitude and devotion, effortlessness and surrender, inner light and inner sound to become absorbed into the Infinite Self within.
